Before joining DHR, Scott was a Division President at Ralston Purina Company (now Nestlé Purina), where he held positions of increased responsibility over 15 years. His diverse background includes experience in turnarounds, startups and acquisitions.
Scott focuses on conducting searches at the board level, C-level and Vice President/Director level across most functional disciplines and industries. Although he spends most of his time working on North American searches, he has been the #1 consultant collaborating with DHR’s global offices for several years.
Scott was born in Boston and raised in St. Louis. He recently completed a third term on the John Burroughs School Board of Trustees and is a former board member and Alumni Association President for Community School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Virginia and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. His wife, Michelle, is Mayor of the City of Clayton, Mo. They have a daughter and a son who work in the St. Louis area.
