Established in 1989, our business began with a focus on retained executive search, but quickly expanded to search for leaders at the emerging leader level through Jobplex, our wholly owned subsidiary.

With the addition of leadership consulting services, DHR has become one of the largest talent advisory firms in the world, serving clients with a footprint across more than 22 countries.

1989

DHR is founded by David Hoffmann.

1996

Jobplex is developed to connect clients to resources that serve their emerging leader search needs.

2001

Acquires the Stratford Group, the 13th largest executive recruiting firm in the U.S.

Industry practice verticals are created to meet the growing complexity of search needs.

2003

25th U.S. office opens.

2004

First office opens in Europe, marking DHR’s expansion outside the U.S.

2005

First office established in Asia.

2010

Launch of Latin American expansion, with offices in Mexico, Chile and Brazil.

2012

Geoff Hoffmann is named CEO.

2013

52nd office and 24th global office opens in Seoul, South Korea.

2016

Leadership Consulting service line is launched, specializing in leadership assessment, succession planning and executive onboarding.

2019

30th anniversary celebration.

2020

Life@DHR is launched featuring improved health, wellness and financial benefits for all employees.

2021

DHR Global and Jobplex Rebranding Launched.
