Buckner is a trusted advisor to clients of all sizes, resulting from his focus on data and delivering results. He has extensive experience leading searches for corporate, operations, and talent acquisition roles and has placed executives and revenue-producing leaders in markets throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
In addition to his role as Associate Partner, Buckner leads a team focused on Partner-level growth and recruitment for DHR’s multiple service lines plus the research and execution functions. In this role, he collaborates with firm leadership to identify key industry trends and recruit complementary Partners and Managing Partners to grow DHR’s platform worldwide.
Before joining DHR, Buckner lived in London, where he worked for a boutique search firm focused on placing emerging leaders in hard-to-fill positions in the UK’s industrial sector.
Buckner has a Master of Business Administration, with concentration in leadership and strategy, from Wake Forest University and Bachelor of Science degrees in economics and international studies from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, Sommer, and is actively involved as an advisor and operator in his family’s local restaurant business.
