Michele serves as a Partner in the Nonprofit practice and is based in Raleigh, NC. Working with clients globally, she specializes in helping nonprofit organizations find and develop leaders through her expertise in executive search.

Michele has worked with nonprofit organizations for over 25 years, in both executive search firms and within nonprofits. After early career experience in social services and beginning her nonprofit executive search career at two other search firms, she joined DHR’s Nonprofit Practice in 2001 and worked with the firm’s nonprofit clients for 15 years. In 2016, Michele joined JDRF as National Director, Talent Acquisition. At JDRF, Michele built and led a new Talent Acquisition team and redesigned recruitment strategies to enhance hiring in the field and national roles. She returned to the DHR team in 2021.
Working collaboratively with DHR’s Leadership Consulting group, she also assists with projects concerning strategy, business planning, governance and executive compensation in the nonprofit sector.
Michele has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Southern Methodist University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Duke University.
