Steve Jiang is Managing Partner in DHR’s Industrial Practice Group in Shanghai. He has deep experience in industrial and automotive leadership across China, with a strong understanding of the market dynamics, operating pressures, and senior talent needs multinational and Chinese enterprises face.

Steve brings more than 30 years of experience across executive search, management consulting, business leadership, and engineering. Before joining DHR, he spent 18 years in senior roles with global executive search firms, most recently leading an industrial and automotive practice in China. His executive search work has included senior talent acquisition, C-suite and board assignments, executive coaching, and leadership advisory across industrial, automotive, technology, diversified manufacturing, and life sciences markets.
Earlier in his career, Steve held senior strategy consulting roles with global professional services and management consulting firms. He led business strategy and IT strategy practices, advising companies on corporate and business strategy, organization design, restructuring, and business process improvement. He also co-founded and led a B2B e-commerce startup and began his career as a research engineer in China’s aerospace industry.
Steve earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from the Wharton School, a master’s degree in international management from the International University of Japan, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Zhejiang University.
