DALLAS – Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce David Sheahan has joined the firm as Partner in the Private Equity practice. Sheahan is based in the Dallas office and holds almost 15 years’ experience in the human capital space, primarily in executive search and talent advisory.
Sheahan has deep experience helping growth and change-centric companies find, assess, and develop executive talent from outside and inside their firms. He has led many prominent executive search and talent projects with notable companies ranging from Global 100 corporations to privately held enterprises.
Prior to joining DHR, Sheahan served as Managing Director at ZRG Partners where he was an executive search and talent consultant. Previously, he was with Korn Ferry for almost ten years as a talent consultant and regional leader in their talent advisory business based in their Dallas and Houston offices. Sheahan also worked for ExcellerateHRO, the human resources outsourcing business of EDS and Towers Perrin.
Before his career in human capital, Sheahan worked in information technology at CoreLogic including roles in marketing, data analytics and client management. He started his career in broadcast media and marketing communications. Sheahan received his B.A. in Communications from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
Sheahan lives in Dallas with his wife and two daughters. He is active in the community and is a member of the board of directors at Trinity River Mission, a local not-for-profit that provides education and development services to children and their families.
