Beijing (October 31, 2023) – Leading talent advisory firm DHR Global announces that Shan Wang has joined as Managing Partner in the Technology Practice Group, based in the firm’s Beijing office.
Wang is also a member of the Business & Professional Services and Life Science Practice Groups. She brings extensive corporate leadership and consulting experience across telecommunications, high-tech, internet, and professional services.
Prior to joining DHR, Shan served as a Leadership Advisory Consultant at a global executive search and leadership consulting firm in the Technology, Media, Telecommunications, and Professional Services Practice. Before that, she was a Partner at a consulting firm in the Greater China area, where she led the Public Sector Practice and advised clients on topics including digital infrastructure, smart cities, and digitalization transformation.

Earlier in her career, Wang was a founding team member and a key leader of Amazon Web Services, Greater China. In her role as General Manager of Public and SOE, she managed the P&L and made significant contributions to the success of AWS China. Additionally, she worked at Dell China, where she held various roles in the commercial area and served as Sales GM/Solution Sales GM.
Wang holds an EMBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication engineering from Northern Jiaotong University in China.
