CALGARY, AB (February 10, 2020) – Global Executive Search firm DHR International is pleased to announce they have been awarded the Head of Community and Investment Manager searches for The51. This search will be led by Calgary based Partners Shahauna Siddiqui and Sarah Hawitt.

The51 is a financial platform where accredited investors, entrepreneurs and those who aspire to be so come together for democratized access to women’s capital for female-led businesses.

Since launching last year, The51 has invested over CAD $5M into female-led and/or co-founded businesses, established a platform for female investors and entrepreneurs, and activated the larger community of financial feminists. Led by co-founders Judy Fairburn, Shelley Kuipers, and Alice Reimer, The51 aims to build a financial feminist movement to bring about the next economic wave in Alberta and beyond. With strategic partners BDO Canada and Osler, The51 will develop new knowledge and expertise, leading to financially valuable network and investment opportunities.
