Katie is Senior Director, North America Research & Recruiting, where she helps lead the firm’s research and recruiting team across North America. She works closely with the research team to ensure they have the tools, resources and support needed to deliver for DHR’s Partners, and she thinks strategically about how to continually strengthen the team’s capabilities and impact.

Katie is responsible for overseeing research policies, processes, templates and quality standards, and she partners with Learning & Development to build training aligned to those standards. Her role also includes leadership of Jobplex research and recruiting operations.
Katie has been in recruiting and HR for over 15 years. She joined DHR in 2017 as a Senior Associate in the Financial Services Practice Group, moving to the Sustainable Infrastructure & Energy Practice Group in 2020, and advancing to Principal where she led C-suite and executive searches for funds and their portfolio companies. Earlier in her career, she built teams for Morningstar and Groupon in Chicago, then spent five years at J.P. Morgan recruiting and retaining top talent across the Private and Commercial Bank Divisions.
Katie earned her B.A. in Communications from DePaul University. She has been involved with DePaul’s Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) Network, connecting with recent graduates on career development, and has supported Girls on the Run – Chicago, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring girls across the city to be confident and healthy. Katie lives just outside Chicago with her husband and children.
