With more than 20 years of executive search and leadership advisory experience, Mathew specializes in board, CEO, and senior leadership appointments across fashion, luxury, beauty, retail, consumer products, and lifestyle brands. He works with clients throughout Europe and internationally, helping organizations navigate leadership challenges in rapidly evolving markets.
Since joining DHR, Mathew has helped strengthen the firm’s presence among leading consumer brands across Europe while fostering greater collaboration across DHR’s global Consumer & Retail Practice. He regularly works with colleagues across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East to support multinational clients and deliver integrated talent solutions. He is particularly passionate about helping consumer brands build leadership teams that can succeed across increasingly global and interconnected markets.
In addition to executive search, Mathew partners with clients on leadership assessment, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, and other strategic talent initiatives. He frequently collaborates with DHR’s Leadership Consulting team to help organizations align leadership strategy with business objectives and drive long-term organizational performance.
Prior to joining DHR, Mathew held senior leadership roles at several global executive search and leadership advisory firms. Throughout his career, he has advised organizations ranging from high-growth challenger brands to some of the world’s most recognized consumer companies.
Mathew also serves as the Unit Leader for the MBA Digital Transformation Program at Istituto Marangon business school. He is committed to advancing inclusion within the consumer sector and co-authored one of the first Europe-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion studies focused on the fashion industry.
Mathew earned a first-class bachelor’s degree in Fashion Marketing from Northumbria University.
