Experience

Shan is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in talent acquisition and executive search. She currently serves as Head of Talent Acquisition for Internal APAC Partner recruitment and as a Partner specializing in Technology and Financial Services at DHR Global, with a focus on functional and hedge fund roles. In these capacities, she partners closely with clients to identify and secure top-tier talent.

Before joining DHR, Shannon was part of the Global Technology and CEO & Board Practices at a leading global executive search firm. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Organizational Consultant in the U.S., delivering organizational diagnostics and executive coaching. Her experience also includes roles with the United Nations in France and a start-up in China.

Shan holds a M.Phil. in Organizational Dynamics from The University of Pennsylvania. She holds three certificates: Organizational Consulting & Executive Coaching, Development & Change, Leadership & Management.

Shan earned her undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature, reflecting her deep interest in languages and cultural studies. She is a native Mandarin speaker with full professional proficiency in English, conversational proficiency in French (DELF B1), and beginner-level Japanese (N4) and Korean (TOPIK T3), which she continues to develop.
