SEOUL (September 15, 2023) – Leading talent advisory firm DHR Global is pleased to announce that BH Hyun has joined the firm as Partner in the Life Science Practice Group, based in the firm’s Seoul office.
Hyun brings over 25 years of experience working with multinational and Korean-headquartered companies in executive search, strategy, and business development.

Prior to joining DHR, Hyun served as a Senior Client Partner with a global executive search firm, where he built and led one of the strongest life science practice groups. Before becoming an executive search professional, he served as a strategy consultant for a global strategy firm in Seoul, where he covered all leading Korean industries, including consumer electronics, semiconductors, shipbuilding, automotive, retail, and chemical.
Additionally, Hyun was a dedicated life science consultant in Seoul, leading diversified strategy and commercial projects for life science firms, including pharmaceuticals, medical device companies, healthcare providers, and Korean pharma/bio companies. Hyun began his career at LG Chemicals.
Hyun holds a bachelor’s degree from Pohang University of Science and Technology and a master’s degree from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
