WASHINGTON (August 3, 2026) – DHR Global, a leading talent advisory firm, today announced that Managing Partner Steven Baumruk has been named to lead the Global Aerospace, Defense & Space Practice Group.
In his expanded role, Baumruk will lead the continued growth of DHR’s global Aerospace, Defense & Space Practice, bringing together an established team of sector specialists serving clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
Baumruk brings more than 20 years of executive search and leadership advisory experience across aerospace, defense, space, and technology-enabled industrial markets. Throughout his career, he has recruited CEOs, board directors, and senior executives for public companies, privately held organizations, and private equity-backed businesses, navigating growth, transformation, acquisition, and leadership succession.
He also advises boards, management teams, and investors on leadership strategy before and after critical transactions. His experience spans original equipment manufacturers, defense electronics and technology, government services, aviation, precision engineering, and the rapidly evolving commercial and national security space markets.

Baumruk earned a Master of Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., and a bachelor’s degree in management from Clark University in Worcester, Mass. He serves on the board of the National Defense University Foundation in Washington, D.C.
