The firm delivers executive search, leadership consulting, and emerging leader search for organizations making critical leadership decisions. Appointed CEO in 2025, Taneja is the first executive from outside the founding family to lead DHR in its nearly four-decade history.

Her path to CEO reflects the very promise DHR helps its clients deliver: identifying potential, creating opportunity, and placing leaders where they can have outsized impact. Taneja joined DHR in 2013 in human resources and rose through operations, strategy, culture, and enterprise growth before serving as President and Chief Operating Officer. As a member of the executive leadership team, Taneja was instrumental in driving one of the most transformative periods in DHR’s history, helping lead five acquisitions, accelerating global expansion, and broadening the firm into a more comprehensive talent advisory platform.
Under Taneja’s leadership, DHR has sharpened its global market position while building a high-performance culture recognized nationally for workplace excellence, belonging, and employee engagement. Beyond DHR, Taneja is committed to expanding opportunity in the communities where she lives and leads. She serves on the Advisory Council of Saint Louise House, where she chaired the organization’s inaugural women’s luncheon and helped raise more than $400,000 for women and children exiting homelessness. She also serves on the Board of the Young Presidents’ Organization Austin Chapter and is a longtime supporter of Generation SERVE and Austin Angels.
Taneja holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and completed the Finance for Executives Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in a simple belief: organizations grow when people are challenged with purpose, supported with intention, and trusted to lead.
