AUSTIN (Sep. 1, 2026) — DHR Global, a premier talent advisory firm, today announced that CEO Priya Taneja has been named a winner of the Austin Business Journal’s 32nd annual Women in Business Awards. Taneja was selected following a highly competitive process that included hundreds of submissions and 35 finalists representing businesses and organizations across Central Texas.

One of the publication’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition programs, the Women in Business Awards celebrate leaders who are shaping the future of Austin through their professional achievements, community involvement, and commitment to advancing the region’s economy. The honor marks Taneja’s second major Austin recognition in 2026. Earlier this year, she was named Austinite of the Year, the highest distinction presented as part of the Austin Under 40 Awards.

“I’m incredibly honored by this recognition,” said Taneja. “Austin has an extraordinary business and philanthropic community, and I’ve been fortunate to meet so many leaders who are ambitious about what they’re building while also deeply committed to giving back. To be recognized among them is especially meaningful, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this community in my own way.”

Since joining DHR Global in 2013, Taneja has built her career across human resources, operations, strategy, and enterprise leadership. Throughout her tenure, she has played a central role in the firm’s growth and transformation, helping strengthen DHR’s global operations, culture and talent strategy.

Taneja created Life@DHR, the firm’s framework focused on mentorship, development, performance and employee experience. Today, DHR maintains a 94% employee retention rate and has earned five consecutive Inc. Best Places to Work honors, along with additional recognition for its culture and growth.

In 2025, she was appointed CEO, becoming the first CEO outside the founding family in DHR’s nearly 40-year history. In her role, Taneja is leading the firm’s next phase of growth, with a focus on expanding DHR’s global platform, investing in technology and innovation, developing talent and strengthening the firm’s position as a trusted advisor to clients around the world.

Beyond her corporate leadership, Taneja is deeply committed to the Austin community. She serves on the Advisory Council of Saint Louise House, which provides housing and comprehensive support services for women and children transitioning out of homelessness. She has led several fundraising initiatives for the organization, including its inaugural Women’s Luncheon, which raised more than $400,000 to support housing and critical services.

Taneja has also supported fundraising and community initiatives for Generation SERVE and Austin Angels and serves on the board of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Austin.
