Experience

Drawing on her graduate training, Ally applies a systems-level perspective to search with knowledge of leadership effectiveness, organizational design, succession planning, individual assessment, team dynamics, and DEI helping clients align talent with business strategy and company culture.Ally’s experience spans the full spectrum of real estate organizations, including owner/operators, institutional investors, private equity firms, and service providers, with work across diverse functional areas and a wide range of product types.

Prior to joining DHR Global, Ally was a Senior Principal at a boutique national executive search firm focused exclusively on real estate, where she also supported marketing and communications strategy. Her earlier experience in the nonprofit sector includes roles with the Urban Land Institute and the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association, providing her with a contextual understanding of the real estate industry.

Based in Washington, DC, Ally is a member of the DC Real Estate Group and the Urban Land Institute, where she actively participates in the Urban Development and Mixed-Use Product Council (UDMUC). She is involved with several philanthropic organizations, including the Jewish Federation and was selected for Leadership Greater Washington’s Rising Leaders Program. Ally earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science & History from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology & Change Leadership from Columbia University.
