Described by Forbes magazine as “…one of the most influential men in college athletics”, Glenn is credited with building one of the largest and most renowned sports practice groups in the world. For over 20 years, he has been placing talent in professional organizations and for the top academic institutions in the United States and around the world. Glenn is considered a human capital expert and is frequently asked to share his opinions and insights in the media and speak about his experiences internationally.
At age 27, Glenn became one of the youngest directors of a major U.S. pro sports team when he was named to the board of directors of the former world champion Chicago Bulls. Prior to the Bulls, he was a Division I college basketball coach.
Before joining DHR Global, Glenn served as Vice President and Account Director at Leo Burnett USA, and was Director of North American Business Development at Arc Worldwide (formerly known as iLeo). Leo Burnett’s Marketing Services group. Glenn began his career as director of marketing, advertising and sales for a regional restaurant company. He successfully transitioned from marketing to finance & operations when he ran a nine-unit, 700-employee chain as President and CEO. Since then, Glenn has served as EVP of a 5,000-employee service company and President of a real estate development company.
Among his many affiliations, Glenn is a member of the Executive Committees of both the Board of Directors of the Japanese American Service Committee and the Business Advisory Council of the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University. He is on the National Advisory Board of Positive Coaching Alliance, has served on the advisory council of the University of Illinois – College of Commerce and Business Administration and was named one of the “Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business” in the nation. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
