ATLANTA (JUNE 26, 2024) – Leading talent advisory firm DHR Global announces that Giovanni Lamarca has joined the firm as Managing Partner in the Atlanta office. As a member of the Board & CEO and Consumer & Retail Practice Groups, Lamarca will focus on leadership roles across the Consumer Products, Retail, and Health & Wellness landscape.
Lamarca brings more than 25 years of global management experience in the consumer sector on multiple continents. In this general management capacity, he led cross-cultural teams, built brands and businesses, led innovation, and developed winning organizational strategies and structures for some of the world’s most recognized corporations. He combines this leadership background with over a decade in executive search across Europe, LATAM, and the U.S.
Lamarca’s appointment supports DHR’s plans to invest and grow in the Atlanta market, a vibrant hub for business. The city boasts a diverse industry base with a significant concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, a strong and skilled workforce, and a strategic geographic position, presenting a great opportunity to serve clients with executive recruiting needs.
Before joining DHR, Lamarca was Managing Director at a global talent advisory firm, where he partnered with some of the world’s best-known consumer companies to provide solutions for their leadership and organizational needs. He has a unique international background, holding four passports and having fluency in six languages. This blend drives his passion for cultural, ethnic, and gender-diverse collaboration.

Lamarca has higher educational degrees from well-respected institutions on three continents. He has a B.B.A. from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and earned his Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona. He also received a General Management Program degree from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a certificate in Building a DE&I Organization from Cornell University.
