Known for her partnership approach, Joan’s executive search career is a testament to her long-term relationships with clients who repeatedly look to her. Focused in healthcare, she brings human capital solutions to her clients, resulting in a diverse portfolio of candidates for healthcare systems, physician group practices and private equity-based firms.

Prior to joining DHR, Joan served as Partner for two different firms providing executive-level retained search primarily in the healthcare field. Early in her career Joan worked at KPMG and Accenture. At KPMG, she conducted financial feasibility studies for healthcare providers and led the internal recruitment of executives into KPMG’s national healthcare practice. At Accenture, she was responsible for partner hiring across many industries.

Joan has spent her career in the Atlanta area where she is active in the ministry of her church and a member of the board of directors at No Longer Bound, a ministry centered on helping men gain freedom from addiction. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of Central Florida.
